北九州インタープリテーション研究会代表と豊の国海幸山幸ネット事務局長を務める原賀いずみ氏は、教育大学美術科卒業後、特別支援学校、小〜大学までの様々な学校で美術や環境問題を教え、独自の手法で地域の自然や文化を伝える教育を実践しています。また、北九州地域の魅力を伝える「豊の国けいちく・ふるさとミュージアム」の企画運営をし、持続可能な発展のための教育【ESD】に不可欠な、地域の宝を伝える「インタープリテーション」活動に奔走しています。

Nature Art Educator
Izumi Haraga is the President of Kitakyushu Eco Interpretation Club and the Secretary General of the network “Umisachi Yamasachi”.
With an art degree from Fukuoka University of Education, Izumi has worked at a special support education school and has been teaching art and environmental issues to a wide range of students from elementary school to university.
For Izumi, “Interpretation” is an important tool in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) to communicate about natural treasures, and she is making a great effort to demonstrate this on a daily basis.
