歯科医師／口腔外科専門医

福岡歯科大学卒後、大学院にて、口腔外科学、特に顎骨・顎関節外科、顎骨再建を専門に研究に従事。また助教授として研究指導や診療に努め、歯科インプラントのための骨移植や顎関節内視鏡、顎変形症手術を数多く執刃した。2005年に日本口腔外科学会指定施設である有床型の歯科・口腔外科クリニックを開業。臨床に直結する手術機器や医療材料の開発に努め、増骨機能のある仮骨延長型歯科インプラントで国際特許を取得、着脱自在なインプラント冠の開発で特許を取得した。全身麻酔下の歯科治療や手術等専門的な診療の場を提供し、オープンクリニックとして機器の貸し出しやインターディシプリティな治療も提供している。福岡歯科大学臨床教授も勤める。

Dental Doctor, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist

After graduating from Fukuoka Dental College, Tsunehisa Shimoda obtained a Ph.D. in oral and maxillofacial surgery with a focus on jaw bone and joint surgery and jaw bone reconstruction. In 2005, he started a dental oral and maxillofacial clinic distinguished by the Japanese Oral and Maxillofacial surgery association. Dr. Shimoda has international patents for his distraction osteogenesis implant and attachable and detachable implant crown. He lends medical instruments to other medical institutes as an open clinic and interdisciplinarity medical initiative. At present, Shimoda is a clinical professor at Fukukoka Dental College.
