Wakako Tokuda

Freelance, QREC and Unison Capital Advisor

As a university student, Tokuda published "Todaisei ga Oshieru! Chou Anki Jutsu" (Learn from a UTokyo Student! Super-memorization Techniques), which became a bestseller. After graduation, she used the royalties from her book to travel around the world, visiting 52 countries in search of a future husband.
She then began working at an investment firm in 2012, and was appointed to work with CROSS FM, a Fukuoka-area radio station that was on the verge of going under. She became its president and CEO, successfully restructuring the business.
Tokuda currently works as an adviser to organizations such as the Robert T. Huang Entrepreneurship Center of Kyushu University (QREC) and Unison Capital (which sponsors Sukesan Udon, a chain of udon restaurants as well as udon wholesaler/retailer).
